Description
An experiment with different crop sequences was installed at the Marcos Juárez Experimental Station of the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA). I include corn, soybean, wheat, sorghum and sunflower crops with and without nitrogen, phosphorus and sulfur fertilization
Design description
The experimental design consisted of two completely randomized blocks with a divided plot; the main plots (90 x 14.5 m) corresponding to the crop sequence treatment (monoculture of corn, soybeans, sunflower, sorghum and combinations of these crops totaling 11 different sequences) and the subplots to the fertilization treatment with nitrogen, phosphorus and sulfur

Factor levels
crop rotation
Until 2019, combined sequences of corn, wheat, soy, sorghum, sunflower and combinations of these crops were compared. As of 2019-20, the same culture is implanted in all treatments to see the residual effect of each sequence in the same culture implanted in the entire experiment in the same year.
fertilizer exposure
Until the 2018-2019 cycle, each crop sequence treatment was done with and without the application of fertilizers. Nitrogen, phosphorus and sulfur were used in the fertilized plots. From the 2019-20 cycle, the entire experiment is fertilized with Nitrogen, phosphorus and sulfur with the same dose of each nutrient defined with a previous diagnosis.
