An experiment with different crop sequences was installed at the Marcos Juárez Experimental Station of the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA). I include corn, soybean, wheat, and triticale crops as a cover crop) with and without nitrogen, phosphorus, and sulfur fertilization
Design description
The treatments that were evaluated were the following: 1) Soybeans without fertilization (S s / f); 2) Soybean with replacement fertilization of P and S (S c / f P and S); 3) Cover crop / Soybeans both without fertilization (CC / S s / f); 4) Cover crop / Soy with fertilization of P and S (CC / S c / f P and S); 5) Cover crop fertilized with N / Soybean with replacement fertilization of P and S. (CC c / fN -S c / f P and S) and 6) Cover crop fertilized with N / Soybean with replacement of P and S in sequence of 3 years with Corn and Wheat / Soy with NPS (SEC). Treatment 6 is described below, in which all crops are repeated every year: 6a-Corn with P and S fertilization (replacement) and 130 kg N; 6b-Wheat / Soybean with P and S fertilization (replacement) and 100 kg N and 6c-Cover crop fertilized with 80 kg of N / Soybean with replacement fertilization with P and S. The determination of the replacement dose was carried out in function of a defined objective yield for each crop, 12, 5, 3.2 and 4 t.ha-1 of corn, wheat, second-class soybeans and first-class soybeans, respectively.
