Langgewens Long term crop rotation trials

Objective
To study different 4 year rotation cropping systems based on conservation agriculture principles
Description
A long term trial with 8 4-year rotation cropping systems of which 4 are pure cash crop systems and 4 are cash crop/annual legume pasture systems, based on conservation agriculture principles includes animal factor.

Description
The project consists of eight crop rotation systems, which include four cash crop and four cash crop/annual pasture rotation systems and is based on conservation agricultural practices of minimal soil disturbance, maximum soil cover and crop rotation. Plots measure 100 x 200 m
